Florida- Kennedy Space Center

Alex is studying astronomy, and loving it, so a trip to the Kennedy Space Center was a must.

We watched several movies about different aspects of space and the space program. We also took the bus tour.

Being there and seeing the different aspects of the space program really made it real. It took the knowledge we had gained from documentaries, books, and You Tube (Crash Course Astronomy and SciShow Space) and solidified it.
