Sabrina age 27 months

This week has been super busy. We had revival at church and several outings.

Sabrina and Alex gathered pinecones to take to Gilcrease Animal Sanctuary for the birds. The kids had a lot of fun with this. It was like an egg hunt as they raced to get the pinecones. They gathered a whole shopping bag of pinecones.

Gilcrease Animal Sanctuary is a great place. The kids got to see and pet animals they normally wouldn’t such as: donkeys, a miniature horse, and goats. They also had llamas, a mule deer, ducks, a turkey, emus, and lots of other birds.

Sabrina did several farm related puzzles this week.

The kids enjoyed playing with the Thomas the Tank Engine train set at Barnes and Nobles. Sabrina also pointed out the princess books (of course).

After story-time we spent time playing with the puzzles in the library. In fact, we had to leave story-time early because Sabrina kept stealing another girl’s crackers. The girl and her mom were sharing, but Sabrina was leaving crumbs everywhere so after about the fourth cracker I took her out.

Imaginations soared at the quarter machines outside of Food 4 Less.

Sabrina decorated hearts with markers and stickers for the Valentine’s Party.

Sabrina really enjoys her Bright Baby First 100 Words book she got from her grandparents for Valentine’s Day. I asked her to find the teddy bear… and she got more right than I thought she knew.

We had a homeschool group Valentine’s Party at a park. Sabrina kept giving her hearts to the same people. One lady got about 5 of them. It was funny. She had a lot of fun on the play ground equipment too.

Sabrina played with her Fisher Price farm set. I asked her to find the animals. The only one she had trouble with was the donkey.
