Frank's work is collecting for Stand Up for Kids, a non-profit that helps homeless teens. The kids and I choose some food to donate. We are attempting to teach our kids to help others, so when opportunities like this arise we try to take advantage of them.
Like most kids, our kids can be extremely self-centered. We hope that by modeling giving and allowing them to participate as much as possible that they will become more compassionate.
