Sabrina is now in Gavel Club and Drama Club with Alex, which makes it easier on me. Now I get to see both kids in action. Sabrina and Alex both hold offices in Gavel Club. Sabrina was uncontested for Vice President of Membership. Alex was voted as Sgt at Arms.
The play they are doing this year is a musical: Annie. Alex has the role of Rooster. Sabrina will be Pepper, a staff member, and the Broadway Star. This is the first musical for both kids. I was very surprised that the teacher was able to talk Alex into a singing role.
I think going through the audition was also a good experience for both kids.
