The kids' Birthday Bash

For this year's party we have a castle theme. It is also a costume party, (but the kids can wear whatever they have). The craft is the goblets that the kids decorate with jewel stickers. In the upper lefthand corner is the storytime area. Frank made the carbaord castle.

I ordered the cake without toys since they we already had the knight.

These four had a whole lot of fun!

First, the kids played with the Imaginext castle for quite a while.

We had a short storytime. I used several of the many princess and prince, (mostly princess) books we own.

The cardboard castle got a lot of action. The kids had a blast playing with it and knocking it down.

Each child got a few chances to whack the pinata.

Alex also had fun shooting arrows through the castle windows!

Like last year, Alex wanted this party to be a fundraiser for Operation Christmas Child. I'm not sure yet how many boxes we'll have.

The kids had a great time and we collected for a good cause.
