Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge

We drove to a wildlife preserve that is really beautiful and also pretty remote for Memorial Day. So, we got to enjoy being out in nature without the crowds. We saw a tree which had a beehive in it. Later found out that most of the bees there are Africanized; glad we noticed it and didn't get too close. I have a survival book that has international hiking trail signs so we practiced a few like need food, cannot move, and need a map... Beautiful area and family fun make a very nice combination.

We also enjoyed the visitor's center. Sabrina completed the Pahranagat portion of the Jr. Ranger Book.
