Homeschool Group- Game Club
During Wayne and Audrey's visit we hosted the Game Club. Sabrina and Michael played while Alex and Audrey finished a game of Chess.
Sabrina and I played Nyia while the other kids played Catan Card Game.
The kids also played Apples to Apples Jr and Cobra Paw.

Birthday
Sabrina enjoyed her one small gift from us. We teased her that she was only getting one small gift from us.
She also really like her gift from her brother. He treated her to Starbucks.

Wetlands Park
We walked the trails at Wetlands Park. It's good exercise and gets us out in nature. This time both Alex and Sabrina took pictures. If they get a particularly good one we will enter it in the county fair.

Harvest Festival
We went to a Harvest Festival at a friend's church. They have a ton of things to do there. We rode the train ride, Sabrina did the rock wall and Escape Room. Alex spent most of his time playing laser tag. We also watched this artist do a demonstration and give a testimony of Jesus.
There was also all kinds of yummy foods from funnel cakes to cotton candy.

Costumes
The kids had fun dressing up for the Harvest Festival we went to. Alex was a no-name character he made up and Sabrina was Little Red Riding Hood.

Homeschool Group- Co-op
The kids got to dress up for Halloween. Without planning it, Sabrina was Little Red and her friend was a wolf.
Sabrina is taking a Variety Class. For the past few classes they were learning to sew with a sewing machine. Sabrina made a drawstring bag, a table runner, and a bookmark.
Alex has Chemistry with Lab. He always asks if they can blow something up, just like my high school class did.
I do puppet shows for the pre-k class. Then they have play time.

Sabrina's Props
Sabrina was fascinated by the student made props at the community college. The lady manning the booth told us there are tutorials online, so we made that Sabrina's art class.
One of the first props we made were suckers out of materials we already had. I came up with this one and the cake pops on my own when I was searching through our craft supplies for something else.
Cake pops were the second props that Sabrina made. We used coupons for the Mod Podge and got tiny beads on sale for 50% off.
Snow cones were fun and easy to make. We used Styrofoam balls cut in half, craft paint, Mod Podge, party cups, and glue. We painted the half balls to look like snow cones. Then after they dried we glued them into the cups.
Which caramel apple is real?
http://onesimplecountrygirl.blogspot.com/2010/09/how-to-tuesday-faux-caramel-apples.html Sabrina followed the directions except she used bird seed (Safflower seed) instead of cracked corn.
Sabrina gave some of her props to Seedling Theatre to use in Charlotte's Web, (and any future plays that may need them.)

Community College's Career Day
A friend of mine invite us to join them at the local community college's career day. They had a whole lot of booths set up for all kinds of jobs that you can get with a degree from the community college. Some booths had hands-on activities like the marshmallow shooter Alex is holding. Alex spent a long time playing with it with other boys his age.
Sabrina was so fascinated by the Drama Department's table; esp. the food props made by students. The lady manning the booth told us there are tutorials online, and that you can make money selling them. I decided to make that her art class.
We spent a very long time with the reptiles. We held every lizard or snake that they allowed us to.
There was so much to see and do that we quickly got separated from our friends.
