Last night I finished reading Take a City Nature Walk by Jane Kirkland. It had some good ideas about getting in the habit of noticing nature wherever you are. Today we got a chance to put it into practice while walking on the sidewalk of a very busy road. I noticed a dandelion with a bee on it and pointed it out to Alex. We stopped to observe the bee going from flower to flower and we discussed pollination.
