Sunday School

 Both boys love Sunday School. Caleb is definitely the more social of the two. 

Caleb and Joshua helped bring in the church signs. They loved being good helpers. Teaching my kids to do volunteer work is important to me. So I look for simple ways they can help even at a young age.

Easter

The kids were quite happy with their Easter baskets full of games and craft supplies.

We were thrilled that we got to go to the evening church service. There was an order by the governor that church services could only have 10 people in attendance.

Nursery

Yesterday was a normal day. We went to church and had friends over for lunch. Sabrina and I had nursery in the evening. It will be the Last Normal Day for who knows how long.

Ladies' Christmas Fellowship at Church

Sabrina and I went to the Ladies' Christmas Fellowship at church. This year It was a white elephant gift exchange instead or an ornament exchange. Sabrina got a box of chocolates and I got candles. I also won the Christmas ugly sweater contest, using the same brown sweater Frank wore. (I only wore it for the contest bc it was too hot.) Sabrina got second place with the sweatshirt I made Frank years ago. 

Sabrina was thrilled that Faith and Christina were in town for Christmas.

Church Christmas Play

Sabrina is in this year's Christmas Play at church. She is Mrs. Mouse. The play is on Sunday night. I volunteered to help make props, but not to help teach, (did that last year and won't be doing it again).

Sabrina watched several videos on how to make mouse ears then made her own using bits and pieces from the different videos along with her own ideas. 

Making scrolls is a multi-step process. https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Coffee-Stained-Paper Sabrina did the first method with me putting them in and taking them out of the oven. (She hasn't wanted to use the oven since she got burned once.) Next, she hot glued the knobs on wooden dowels. Then she taped the papers together and to the dowel. Finally she rolled it up.

Nursery

Sabrina and I are in the nursery together about once a month. This little man LOVES the Fisher Price Little People bus. He plays with it the entire time every single time he is in nursery. He gives the other little man, not pictured the airplane, but always claims the bus for himself.

Teen Event in Prescott, Arizona

Alex went on a day trip with other youth from church to Prescott. He had a great time. They had a Youth Rally and a concert with other area churches.

Sabrina loves Ms. Ellen. Ms. Ellen moved away, but is here visiting her son for a few weeks. She gave Sabrina the bracelet; it is the favorite color of both of them.

Church Potluck

Our church has a potluck on the last Sunday of every month. (I never think about taking pictures.)

Nursery

Sabrina and I had nursery Wednesday night. Sabrina laid on the floor with two toddlers sitting on her. I got them off when they started bouncing on her stomach. Before she could get up they stomped on her belly. Yikes! They weren't trying to be mean just playing a game. They both felt bad when I told them that they hurt her. Needless to say, Sabrina won't be laying on the floor like that again.

Sabrina helped Mrs. Audra tonight in the nursery. They had three toddlers and a baby.

Sabrina helped in the nursery Sunday morning. She has volunteered to help out whenever she is needed.

Sabrina has been unofficially helping with the preschoolers during the morning service.

Sabrina absolutely loves doing nursery. The toddlers love her and she loves them. She has recently started watching before service starts to give parents a longer break. And we agreed she can be in nursery for the entire service once a week.

Sabrina has recently started watching the toddlers during prayer meeting and while nursery workers are doing song service. She also helped do nursery for the evening service this past Sunday.

Sabrina had nursery twice in one day! She helped another worker in the morning and in the evening she had nursery with me. She was one happy girl!

Baby Shower

Sabrina and I went to a baby shower for a lady at our church. Her son is a preemie, so he was born before the shower. Sabrina was thrilled that she got to feed him a bottle. She also had a lot of fun playing the games.
