Shoshone Falls is so beautiful! I'm very glad we got a chance to go.

Idaho Trip- Hot Springs Swimming Pool

The hot Springs Swimming Pool was very very nice. It was the kids' and my first time to visit hot springs.

Idaho Trip- Balanced Rock

Frank, Alex, and Sabrina hiked up to Balanced Rock. Wayne, Joshua, Caleb, and I only went partway up. Then we stayed at the picnic area with Joshua and Caleb.

Idaho Trip- Concert in the Park

Uncle Robin plays the trumpet in the town orchestra. We got to go to the last concert of the season. It was very nice.

Idaho Trip- Aunt Vivian and Uncle Robin's House

We enjoyed our visit with Uncle Robin, Aunt Vivian, Wayne, and Linda very much! The younger kids absolutely loved their yard. And everyone loved their beautiful cat. (This was our first vacation since the boys moved in.)

Aunt Vivian and Uncle Robin

We had a lovely time visiting with Aunt Vivian and Uncle Robin. They spent the evening with us and even took us out to eat for Pupsas.

Florida- Cocoa Village

We went to Florida for Wayne's b-day!

Audrey went with us to Cocoa Village. We walked a trail along the water's edge.

The kids played hard at the playground.

Then we window shopped, and even went into a few of the stores. Finally we had a yummy lunch.

Elexa and Audrey's Visit- Boulder Bowl

Boulder City has a vintage bowling alley with only 8 lanes. It is a very cool and could be a very fun place, except the people running it are rude and demanding. (She made us put away unopened water bottles, even though they sell alcohol and fountain drinks. She claimed that the water bottles couldn't be left out on a table because of insurance, (???).) We were determined to have fun despite her. (I refuse to go back though because the guy was just as rude last time.)

My friend Teresa and her kids joined us for one last get together before she moved out of state.

Elexa and Audrey's Visit- Natural History Museum

We took Elexa and Audrey to the Natural History Museum. Sabrina saved up and paid half for a family membership, so it was her treat, partly. The kids didn't slow down for better pictures, but they seemed to enjoy the museum and being together.

Elexa and Audrey's Visit- Mt. Charleston

We have never been to Mt. Charleston while it was raining, but this was our only chance to take Elexa to touch a mountain. The kids were very scared because the three adult's phones kept going off for a flash flood warning. Needless to say, we did not hike.

We did spend quite a bit of time in the visitor's center. Thankfully, we were all inside when the hail started up.

Yes, we were as cold as we looked, but we touched that mountain!

Elexa and Audrey's Visit- Bighorn Sheep

There is a park outside of Boulder City where wild Bighorn Sheep come. It is a regular park, but it is a tourist attraction because of the Bighorn Sheep. It also has a great view of Lake Mead in the background.
