Seedling Theater- Summer Camp- Comic Book Artist

Alex and Sabrina were in a week long Summer Camp for Seedling Theater. They spent three hours at Seedling every day and 8 hours on show day, when they performed the show twice. That doesn't include the time at home learning lines. The play was called Comic Book Artist and these kids were absolutely amazing! At first I was intimidated by the size of the script, thinking there was no way these kids could do it in less than a week's time. They proved me wrong bigtime!

Sabrina played 5 different parts. She nailed each one. She was mainly Minutos 1, but she also did Marvelous Meow!, and played three different random girls. Notice the many different costume changes she had to do. The owner of Seedlings, Mrs. Kris, told me that Sabrina did a great job and that she was also a great stage hand who knew where everything was and where everything should go. During the play Sabrina helped move the props and double checked that everything was in place.

Alex played the main villain, Dr. Shock Clock!  It was like the character was written just for Alex. He became Dr. Shock Clock. He wanted his villain to be a dignified villain, who was still very clearly a villain.

All of the kids did an amazing job. It was a really good play too. I am so thankful that we had to opportunity to sign the kids up for this Summer Camp and we definitely plan on signing them up again next year.

Sabrina was very happy that her best friend, Evelyn was also in the play.

Alex became friends with the hero and exchanged contact info so they can keep in touch.
