The Henderson Bird Preserve is a rest stop for migratory birds.
We started out in the visitor's center. A volunteer gave us a wonderful talk and quiz on a bunch of different animals, mostly birds, of course. I was amazed by how much the kids knew, especially Sabrina.
We hiked the trails and saw many different types of birds.
We finished up in the classroom, which has lots of educational displays.
