Skate Park
Today, we went to both playgrounds at "Skate Park". As usual, Frank evangelized while the kids played. The kids love parks and we love that they are free.

Stu Miller's Pumpkin Patch
As I said it was a lot of fun, but those tickets went fast!

Skate Park with Jordan
We took Jordan to two parks in one day- these parks are five minutes from each other and both are about that far from home, in different directions.
Happy kids!

Foxridge Park with Jordan
On Saturday we took Jordan to Foxridge Park. Needless to say the kids had a lot of fun at the park.
This is Sabrina's favorite outfit lately. It's been in a lot of posts recently.
It makes me happy to watch the kids playing and using their wonderful imaginations.

Sleepover with Jordan
Alex was thrilled to have a sleepover with Jordan! The three kids played really well with each other and with me when I started playing with Sabrina to keep her occupied- the boys joined us. Once again Jordan didn't sleep much. The boys stayed up later than we did (11:30) and Jordan was up by 5:30!

My Baby's Growing Up!
Sabrina has had and loved these overalls for years. Seriously, she was 3 when she got them. Though they are now capris on her, she wears them all the time, (2-3 times a week at home and often to the park). Recently the knee got ripped out and now there's a hole in the seat of the pants. The time has come to say good-bye to the overalls.
I'm going to miss seeing her in them.

Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary
We love to go to Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary. I'm not even sure how many times we have been there, though it's been a while. Today was the perfect day to go.
Our favorite part is the goat pen. It's always such fun!
We brought a picnic! We had turkey sandwiches, apples with Carmel sauce, cheese cubes, carrots, snap peas, broccoli, ranch dip, freeze dried strawberries, Kool-Aid, water, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. It was a very yummy lunch!
As always, the kids had fun performing an original and very spontaneous play. I love to see their imaginations flourish like this.
I have never seen a goat jump as high as this little guy. Nor did it ever cross my mind that a goat could balance on a fence.
After watching a school field trip, my kids have a renewed appreciation of homeschool. In the hour that we were there at the same time ALL those kids did was sit to eat or stand in line for the bathroom. THAT'S ALL! One kid thought we worked there because we were in the goat pen. I felt so bad; if I'd known that those kids weren't allowed in the goat pen I would have waited to go in! The teachers wouldn't even let the kids touch the goats through the fence. I told my kids that this is the fun day for those kids.

Mr. Cow update
Mr. Cow has figured out how to sneak out of the screen door. Since he hasn't tried to leave the backyard; I let him out with me watching for about an hour. He really enjoyed being outside. Now I don't worry about him leaving the yard as much.

Skate Park
"Skate Park" is one of the bigger parks near our house. We have been there multiple times recently. I take the kids to the playground while Frank shares the Gospel.

Shrek Play
On Saturday, we met up with several local churches to promote a free play; the Wedding of Shrek and Fiona. We went door-to-door in several apartment complexes near where the play was held. Of course, the play was funny and had a Christian message.
The kids colored a coloring page to enter a raffle. Alex got to pick the raffle tickets from the jar. Sabrina got more and more upset each time her number wasn't called. The last number was hers.
She was so excited to win dinner for us from the pizza place that allowed the church to use their parking lot.

Grapevine Springs Park
We surprised the kids by taking them to "Awesome Park!" known to most as Grapevine Springs Park. Afterwards the kids got a play-date with some friends who live near the park- so they got to go back to "Awesome Park!"
It was also date night for us.

Street Preaching
Last night we met up with members of several local churches to go street preaching outside of a local high school football game. Those who wanted to used the amp to preach; while the rest of us held signs and invited people to our church.
Some people were mad that we were there and yelled and cursed us, but others were glad and admitted that they need to have a relationship with God. It was quite an exciting night especially when the game ended and the mad rush came right by us.
I rushed up to one car and started inviting them before I realized that they were from one of the other churches. They will be teasing me for years.
Alex even got to preach, (the kids can participate if they choose to). Sabrina held a sign for a while then she played with her new toy. When she got tired I took her to rest in the van.
Alex saw some people and invited some of them. One of then scared him by acting like a crazy teenager. I told Alex that they would not hurt him. Then he went out again. Once the teen realized he scared Alex he came over and talked to him and even said he was glad Alex was out there.

Skate Park
Yesterday, we went back to "Skate Park". The kids had a good time, though we didn't stay long. Frank got to talk to a few people about Jesus and to invite them to church.
Ethel M and two parks in one lovely day. YES!
