We planned on doing the Sparkle Box on Christmas, but it didn't happen. We did it on New Year's Day instead.
We took turns reading the slips of paper with "gifts" we gave to Jesus written on them. Ex: Feeding the homeless, praying fo r a sick friend, Operation Christmas Child... Then we discussed ways we can give to Jesus in the upcoming year.
I will make a small photo album for each year to include in the box, but the slips of paper are thrown away after we review them.
