Operation Christmas Child 2012
This is our second year to participate in Operation Christmas Child. Last year Alex saw an ad about it on Veggie Tales and decided he wanted to help. For the last two years the kids' b-day party has been a fundraiser for Operation Christmas Child. So far we have been able to donate 10 boxes. This is a tradition that we'll continue for years to come.
The shoeboxes are packed with things like, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, socks, gloves, balls, washcloths, candy, toys, stuffed animals, hairbrushes... It's a combination of things a child in a third world country can use and things that are just for fun.
