Alex is too young for “school.” The public school, private school, home school debate has not been settled in our house. Yet, Alex has been homeschooled all his life. We began reading to him when he was 2 weeks old and we started using animal flash cards shortly after that. Before he could talk we could lay 6 cards before him and ask, “Alex, where’s the bear?” He would point and get every one right. Since then he has learned many things precept upon precept and line upon line. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Isaiah 28:10 My point is no matter which route we decide to take in his formal education, Alex will always be learning. Alex will be homeschooled.
