Christmas Gift from Alex
Alex decided to treat each of us individually to Star Bucks as his Christmas gift to us. (He took Frank too, but I don't have a picture of that.) It was a lot of fun to be able to spend time with just him.

Sabrina's Props
Sabrina has really enjoyed making props for Seedling Theatre's Frozen play. She has spent several weeks painting the door for Elsa's bedroom.
She also added the stencil on the pot holding the tree and made the leaves icy.

Game Night
We had to cancel several plans because of this dreaded cough. We have mostly just hung out at the house doing our own thing, but we have also played a bunch of board games and card games these past few weeks. We mostly chose quick and simple games since we don't feel that great, but still wanted to do something together.
Mr. Roger's Neighborhood Game
Fantastic Park
Sushi Go
Qwirkle Rummy
Pizza Party

Siblings
Sharing laughs at 1 A.M. This sibling bonding moment was brought to us by the virus that has our sleep cycle all out of whack.

Exercise
It's got to be rough to be the most energetic and the only one in the house who feels good. We all got this nasty cough, but Sabrina didn't get it as bad.

Life Skills- Building shelves
Frank supervised Sabrina as she built two cube shelves. It was her first time to build shelves. She said she is going to open a shelf building business.

Game Night
We had a lot of fun playing some of the new games we got for Christmas.
Ochos Locos is a twist on Crazy 8's.
Qwirkle Rummy is another fun card game.
Llama Line-Up is a speed game.

Funko Popoverse DC Batman Game is a game that I knew Alex would love. He got the base game and the Robin expansion.
Sabrina recently read a book about Mr Rogers and he is now one of her heroes. So I got the Mr. Roger's Neighborhood Game for her.

Christmas
Most of our Christmas gifts were games, we also went to the ballet, and have plans for a day trip. We celebrated at home and ate some yummy food too.
P.S. It's no fun getting sick right before Christmas.

Christmas Eve- Stockings
Alex and Sabrina get their Stockings on Christmas Eve. They mostly got small games, silly socks, and art supplies.

Game Night
Sabrina loves Guess Who, especially when she was younger. I surprised her with the Guess Who Card Game, which she loves just as much.
I picked up Connect 4 & More as a stocking stuffer years ago.
We finally got around to playing Dozen's Donuts, which is a memory game with a few twists thrown in.
Skippity is a game that I really like.

Church- Christmas Play
Sabrina played Ms. Mouse in the kids' Christmas Play at church. She did an awesome job. Sabrina also made the mouse ears and tail she is wearing along with the scroll the angel used.
Sabrina absolutely loved the stuffed mouse she got to add to her collection.

Nutcracker Ballet
Neither the kids nor I had ever been to see a ballet, so we used some of their Christmas money to go see the Nutcracker. I didn't know there weren't any words. Alex was not familiar with the story-line at all. He quipped, "I don't know what I saw, but it was good." Frank agreed with him, although he read the synopsis in the handbill.

Company Christmas Party
Frank and I went to his company Christmas Party at Carson's Kitchen. We didn't know we were eating on the roof, so Frank didn't even bring a jacket. Thankfully they had outdoor heaters. The food was interesting and most of it was quite good. I got a tire gauge and Frank got a 23 and Me kit in the raffle.

Ladies' Christmas Fellowship at Church
Sabrina and I went to the Ladies' Christmas Fellowship at church. This year It was a white elephant gift exchange instead or an ornament exchange. Sabrina got a box of chocolates and I got candles. I also won the Christmas ugly sweater contest, using the same brown sweater Frank wore. (I only wore it for the contest bc it was too hot.) Sabrina got second place with the sweatshirt I made Frank years ago.
Sabrina was thrilled that Faith and Christina were in town for Christmas.
